Last week I made a video discussing all the types of dubbing and the properties of dubbing. Of course I dont have all the dubbing in the world, but I have a good assortment that allows for most dubbing uses. That video can be found here... [ Ссылка ]
Many of you asked me to make a video discussing dubbing loops and other techniques on using dubbing. So this is that video. Dubbing is one of the most commonly used material types in fly tying. From dry fly, to nymph, to small and large streamer tying, everyone uses some type of dubbing at least occasionally. So its good to get the techniques down.
What I tied with a dubbing loop was a small streamer. This technique can be used for collars on larger streamers as well, with the right type of dubbing. Also, I did not go into making stacked dubbing heads, which are very useful for large flies, including super large pike flies and some saltwater streamers.
So I hope you enjoyed this video, and it was somewhat informative.
