This time we're taking it to BackYard Groovers -- a studio for underserved populations in Goregaon, near New Delhi, India. These students are usually the children of vegetable sellers, house maids, or other lower-income households where money tends to be tight and they cannot afford to pursue dance classes or the arts. At this studio, they learn free! This mission resonated so heavily with my own at-risk-oriented work back in the US, and I jumped at the chance to come and hold a workshop there.
