This video is of me attempting a ROUGH play through Lee Konitz's solo over All The Things You Are. I have been practicing this solo because of the range it covers on the guitar. The tenor sax has a lower range where I usually don't think to solo over changes. Playing music intended for other instruments definitely gives a different perspective of how you can solo on your instrument. This is my first play through video. Credit to Harrison Steingueldoir for the transcription video posted on his channel.
Side note, this is my first video! I have been silently eager to create a YouTube channel these past couple of years. I have decided to pop my head out of the sand and dive into the vast sea of the musical community on social media. For now I don't know what my channel will bring. As a musician I may do cover videos, practice blog videos, theory videos, or just whatever inspires me to create a video. I definitely welcome all commentary, criticism, conversation, and anything to get a point of view of my playing (if you like it awesome, if you don't that's awesome too. Whatever it takes to be better.) I love talking about music and playing music of all different varieties. Please feel free to trade cool info about what your listening to or what I should check out. And I'm popping my cherry here: PLEASE LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE TO MY PAGE
