Morton's neuroma is not really a true neuroma. It's actually a nerve entrapment. 1st line treatment should be decompression along with correcting biomechanics of the foot and determining the effect metabolic considerations have on the symptoms. Metabolic processes involved with "sugar/carbohydrate" metabolism swell nerves and excess insulin response worsens nerve entrapments.
