(12/25/23-12/26/23) This video is LONG overdue, but here’s my train ride from Chicago to Flagstaff 2 weeks ago! We spent 32 hours on the rails, departing Chicago on Christmas Day at 2:50pm and arriving Flagstaff just after 10:00pm Mountain Time (half hour late). Really beautiful scenery through the rock formations in the New Mexico desert, but nothing beats the Coast Starlight and California Zephyr.
Coming up in a few weeks will be the Lincoln Service Missouri River Runner from Jefferson City to Chicago, stay tuned!
