Today we're flying a relatively new airline called Norse Atlantic. Norse were founded in 2021 after Norwegian Airlines stopped flying long haul aircraft to focus on their short haul flights around Europe. Before this, Norwegian Airlines had a fleet of 737's and 787's, however they retired their 787's when stopping these long haul services. From these corporate ashes, came Norse Atlantic, who essentially carried on Norwegians long haul services, but under a different name. In fact, most of the 787's that Norse operate, started off as Norwegian Airlines aircraft.
Just like Norwegian Airlines, while Norse are a Norwegian company, they also have a British subsidiary called Norse Atlantic UK, which allows the airline to operate a base at London Gatwick. They fly from London Gatwick to many destinations such as Los Angeles, Miami, NewYork, Orlando, Washington, Barbados and Montego Bay.
