Marth is finally getting more recognition for being very underrated, but why was he seen as garbage in the first place? By talking about why Marth is do difficult to learn (when he really shouldn't be), I noticed how these reasons correlate to why he is underrated. Characters that aren't easy to learn get seen as bad because nobody brings out that potential. Maybe one day we will see Marth consistently place way better than he doee now, but it's up to the Marth playerbase to bring the change.
