The Zareba® Copper Sectional Ground Rod Kit is a revolutionary option for electric fence ground rod installation. The kit includes 4 (four) 2-ft copper-coated ground rod sections that screw into each other and make it easier to drive the stake into the earth.
To assemble and drive this ground rod:
1) Screw the hardened steel tip and tighten.
2) Top the first section with the plastic anvil.
3) Drive this section into the ground, leaving about 5 inches exposed.
4) Remove the anvil and screw in the next section.
5) Drive the rod again, leaving 5 inches above ground.
6) Repeat for the remaining ground rod sections, leaving 5 inches for the hookups on the final section.
