Today we are with Matt and his 2002 Volkswagen Golf GTI and we are doing a manual transmission fluid change with AMSOIL 100% synthetic GL-4 75W-90 which is designed for some differentials and Transmissions which is called a transaxle which is a differential and transmission in one unit.

It is very important to change this fluid about every 20 to 30 Thousand Miles because it is used for the differential and for the transmission all in one. For every 18 degrees hotter a lubricant runs it oxidizes at twice the rate.
