Obituary for Ms. Bernice Holiday
Sister Bernice Holiday was born on May 7, 1967 to the late Noah Bryant and Lenora Holiday. She transitioned to her heavenly eternal home on June 17, 2024 at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, Washington, NC.
Bernice received her education from the Halifax County Schools System. She was known for enjoying life, her love for dancing and cutting the rug a time or two. Spending time with her grandbabies was her all-time favor thing to do. Bernice never met a stranger in life because she was always about love.
Bernice joined the Good News Church early in life and remain there until her demise, under Pastor Lillie Mae Rhodes whom she loved dearly.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Lenora; her six siblings, Jackie Moody, Johnny L. Bryant, Barbara Barnes, Diane Holiday, Noah Bryant and Claudette Holiday.
Bernice leaves to cherish her loving memories, six children, Kendrick Holiday, Christopher Holiday both of Greenville, NC, Brachelle Holiday of Williamston, NC, Trelle Holiday of Oak City, NC, Tierra Holiday and Aaliyah Holiday both of Williamston, NC; two grandsons, Jonathan Holiday and Bryon Wynn; three granddaughters, Jasmine Holiday, Zoey Holiday and Skylar Holiday; eleven siblings, Elaine Holiday (Thomas) of Oak City, NC, Geraldine Vaughan (Joseph), Juanita Pender (Charles) both o Hobgood, NC, Diane Lynch (James), Henry Bryant (Alice), Nathaniel Bryant all of Oak City, NC, Mary Barnes (Alton) of Middletown, CT, Bobby Bryant (Betty) of Hampton, VA, Lucille Barnes, Ernestine Jones, and Kelly Williams all from New Brunstick, NJ; one sister-in-law, Shirley Bryant of Hampton, VA; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
We will miss Bernice dearly; she is one that can not be Replaced!!
