My Porco Rosso 🐖 (2020 Ducati Panigale V2) Air Injection System removal and block-off plates installation followed up with a quick EVAP purge valve delete.
There are videos detailing this on similar Panigales but I couldn't find any specific to the V2, so here we are. Questions, feedback, and constructive criticism are welcome.
I did the charcoal canister removal so that the bike would stop dying at idle in traffic.
I did the AIS removal to get accurate air/fuel readings, remove popping on decel, and potentially smooth the throttle out.
I did both modifications to remove excess stuff from the bikes internals and because it was an excuse to work on the bike!
Results: 🤷♂️! I didn't expect much, so my expectations were met. No more decel popping, can't tell if the throttle is smoother, since I also installed some 717 Pro Grips at the same time. They're a little fatter, so that will obviously change how the throttle handles.
Thanks to Smartmoto for making these high quality kits and big thanks to f48_racing on the Ducati forum, I used his write-up as a guideline to making this video. 🏍️💨
