The 5/2 intermittent fasting diet is an easy way to lose weight and improve your health.
All you have to do is normally eat for five days and then, on two nonconsecutive days, reduce your calories by about 75%. For example, if you typically eat 2,000 cal per day on your two fasting days, only eat 500 calories.
You will get even better results if you only eat one meal on your fasting days as well. Eating only one meal a day is called OMAD.
