This was a clip I saved a couple of years ago. I remember I distinctly wanted to get all raid mode trophies out of the way before I tackled the Infernal difficulty playthrough.

To this day, it surprises me that there's no videos that showcase any and all unique interactions with each character in this mode. Due to that, I couldn't bring myself to delete this small clip. It's definitely one of the more unique ones that I have come across during that time.

This clip gives off the vibes that in some alternate reality, Raymond Vester reunited with his partner, Rachael Foley. Oh, what a better life that would have been for Rachael. Instead of turning into one of the series' most terrifying zombies, she is now fighting side by side with Raymond against BOWs.

Now that I think about it, imagine how fascinating it would be for a sort of Ghost Scenario for Rachael Foley: A "what-if" side story for this obscure character.

The words at the beginning of each of the Ghost Survivors DLC in the RE2 Remake are as follows: "Here is a tale of a future that never was, of a night that never dawned".

So, keeping that in mind: an idea I had was what if we play as her as she searches for the key to the ship's bilge. Along the way, she encounters hordes of Oozes and then she gets trapped. But instead of her getting mortally wounded and ultimately being consumed by the Oozes we see at the beginning of episode one, she makes it out of that encounter and then meets up with Jill and/or Raymond later on. Then the two teams work together to uncover the mystery of the Queen Zenobia. Now that would certainly make for an interesting side story to add more content for her character. Plus, it would give us an opportunity to play as her since she is actually quite fun to play as in the raid mode.

But that's just a thought I had.
