Elif Şafak, acclaimed author of "The Bastard of Istanbul", says the rise in the numbers of female parliamentarians is not enough. And, she warns, recent statements by Turkish politicians - tellling women to focus on motherhood and not to laugh aloud in public - are counterproductive. BBC Arabic's Hanan Razek has the story.
