The spokesperson of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council, Hajji Nsereko Mutumba has revealed in an exclusive interview that the achieved alliance between the Old Kampala mosque Muslims with the Salfah Tabliques of Nakasero and William street mosques is not in any aimed at covering up Tabliques involved in ADF rebellious activities or concealing the controversial sub-leasing of William street mosque plot, but to enhance cooperation among Muslims.
Mutumba also in this interview alleges that the mission of the rival Kibuli Muslim faction is tribal and chauvinistic geared at having the Baganda speaking people dominate the top leadership of Islam in Uganda, which he says is very unfortunate.
