UPDATE (8/5/2020) - I have since then stained the unit, added some coats of poly to it, added a front section to completely seal it when its closed, added some latches on the sides to keep it closed when not used, and because of the Covid-19 thing, i am using this work station just about daily when working from home.

This was an idea i had that stuck in my head and figured i would give it a shot.

Problem: I want to use a full size workstation setup at home but I do not have a dedicated space for all of it. All i have is my kitchen table when i work from home. I do not want to have to drag everything out one item at a time, plug it all in for a few hours and disconnect everything when done.

Solution: Build an all-in-one unit that contains all the parts of a workstation that i can quickly pull out, plug in, and easily store away when not in use.

This was a fun project going from idea to reality. Its definitely not for everyone but it was a solution to a problem i personally had.
