The Dromida BL Monster Truck has proven itself to be a fun performer on pavement, but how does it fare on gravel (or gravel & asphalt mix)? For this test, I took the tiny truck to the country and turned it loose (in the hands of one of my "test drivers").
Although the tires seemed to catch on the pourous asphalt and gravel, the flips and tumbles that resulted didn't damage the truck or hamper the fun. Sixty-percent of the time, the BL Monster Truck landed on its wheels and could continue on. When it couldn't, we reset our launching position and let it rip again.
A culvert bulge allowed for some low-flying fun (including a tumble or two) and we tested the brakes out on a smooth, concrete driveway pad. The brakes worked...too well, in fact. :)
