Let's talk about the tongue. Your tongue should rest in a very specific position. If it doesn't, then your tongue posture is dysfunctional, which isn't good news because this can lead to a number of adverse health effects.
Why does the tongue matter so much? Well it's because the position of the tongue can play a huge role in the development of the face, jaws, and even the cranium. The tongue can even influence the position and appearance of teeth, can impact oral health, and can affect breathing.

1. Nasal breathing
2. Proper lip seal
3. Correct tongue posture
4. Correct swallowing pattern
