In this video, Dr. Ami Klin discusses recent advancements in the early diagnosis of infants with autism and the importance of early diagnosis and intervention. He shows how the early social engagement of infants can be observed and measured and how early social engagement differs in those on the autism spectrum and those who are not.
Dr. Klin is the Director of the Marcus Autism Center, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta; the Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar Professor; and Chief, Division of Autism in the Department of Pediatrics at the Emory University School of Medicine. He has over 180 publications in the field of autism.
