THE Toll Holden Racing Team has signed 2011 Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon for the Armor All Gold Coast 600 in October.
The winner of this year's IndyCar classic in a dramatic finish that was beamed worldwide -- where he passed JR Hildebrand on the home stretch after the young American crashed at the final corner -- Wheldon is a former IndyCar champion but is currently out of a full-time drive in the series.
