Corrugated metal panels are available in three exposed fastener profiles. Each of these corrugated roofing and wall panels has their own set of pros and cons.
7/8" Corrugated is the most common corrugated metal roofing panel, but it's also the most expensive. It can be used as a metal roofing panel or a corrugated metal siding panel.
R Panel is the nicest panel for the least amount of money. It's used most often as a wall panel, but it's also a common metal roofing panel. You get a similar look to standing seam at a fraction of the price.
7.2 Panel or Western Rib is the strongest corrugated metal sheeting. It's used most often as a corrugated metal fence or siding. It's rarely used as a residential metal roofing panel. It spans the furthest so it's an excellent choice for open framed buildings.
