Denervation Atrophy of Muscles:
Denervation atrophy occurs when a muscle loses its nerve supply. This involves decrease in size and strength of muscle fibers. In initial stage, restoration of nerve supply may reverse the atrophy. But if fibrosis starts happening, it cannot be reversed.
