ITV Wales journalist Hannah Thomas spent time with police officers in Brecon who stopped a number of people making non-essential journeys to Wales from across the border.
One family of four from Birmingham were stopped from visiting Pen y Fan and a driver from Devon was told to turn around after travelling to buy dog food.
It is against government guidance in Wales to travel to destinations in a car for exercise or for other non-essential purposes. However, the guidance in England is different where people are permitted to travel to different areas for exercise.
