There’s a knee-jerk reaction that says if you want a peated Scotch whisky, grab something from the Islay shelf. And while so many of the Islay releases shine in this category, there are some very interesting peated whiskies to be discovered on the other shelves, too. That’s why this time I’m looking at the Campbeltown region and pouring the Springbank Longrow release. Each week(-ish) I try to have some fun celebrating the spirit of the spirit through 5-minute whisky video reviews that always try to value your time, your money, and this amazing world of whisky!
