In this video, we will be talking about the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra! So clearly, you don't want to miss out on today's video, and so, without further ado, let's start with today's video.
Toyota has a reputation for making comfortable and reliable vehicles and is one of the biggest sellers of cars in the U.S. Yet, there's one area where the automaker has consistently trailed the competition, full-size pickup trucks.
After months and months of teasers, Toyota has finally unveiled the redesigned 2022 Toyota Tundra to the masses. The Toyota Tundra took what seemed like an eternity to break out of the previous-generation model's 15-year-old mold. It has at long last been redesigned for 2022, arriving modernly equipped and vastly improved, with every nook and cranny new.
The Tundra has been an anomaly for Toyota. Unlike much of the rest of its lineup, the Corolla, RAV4, Camry, 4Runner, the Toyota Tundra hasn't been a completely dominant sales success. The truck has earned high marks for its durability, with several vehicles hitting a million miles, and it's throwback ride quality was not without its signature charms.
The Tundra already has a very well-earned reputation for being a powerhouse in the popular pickup truck segment, which looks to continue for the 2022 model year.
The new 2022 Toyota Tundra will be available in different models like: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, and TRD Pro trims, with TRD Off-Road and Sport packages available on some trims. Double Cab models are said to be equipped with either a 6.5- or 8.1-footbed. The Crew Max models have more interior space and will come with a 5.5-foot bed, though you can go for a 6.5-footbed for maximum functionality as well.
Undoubtedly, Toyota has modernized the interior with a new motif called "technical muscle," which presumably won out over "specialized beefiness." It's a solid layout with the controls in rational places. The Tundra's interior stays the same throughout as you level up, though the fancy tech features and materials improve along the way.
The cabin will be quieter, as addressed by one of the complaints of the current generation by abandoning the previous Tundra's heavy fuel using V8 engine to choose a twin-turbo V6 or a hybrid powertrain.
The new Tundra also takes on a giant leap in technology. The old Tundra had about the smallest dashboard screen of any truck in the market. But in the 2022 model, there will be a standard 8-inch touchscreen. There will also be an optional 14-inch screen that will become a standard at the higher trim levels. Both these screens will have a far better resolution than the outgoing model and share the "pinch and scroll" functionality similar to a smartphone's screen.
Several other technology upgrades will include a decent Google cloud-based multimedia and navigation system drivers can access through a "Hey Toyota" voice command. Android Auto and Wireless Apple CarPlay will come as a standard with the new Tundra. However, after a one-year trial that comes with purchasing the 2022 Tundra, it will require an ongoing subscription.
Moreover, Toyota is pushing ahead of its truck competitors by packing the new 2022 Tundra with valuable standard. The 2022 Tundra will also have automatic high beams, which will turn on and off depending on oncoming traffic.
The new 2022 truck will come in two-wheel and four-wheel-drive, including Toyota's TRD Pro off-road-ready trim. Toyota also has a new system.
Not only is the Tundra pricier than the old one.
Well, guys, that is all we have for you today!
