A confluence of cultures makes Commercial Drive, or "The Drive," a neighbourhood worth exploring. Known as "Little Italy," this diverse neighbourhood is home to a colourful mix of hippies, immigrants and families. The neighbourhood is officially known as Grandview-Woodland, and is bordered by Clark to the west, Nanaimo to the east, Burrard Inlet on the north side and Broadway (9th Ave) to the south, although spiritually it continues down to Trout Lake and John Hendry Park.
