The movie alpha dogs, is based on this terrible murder. 15 yr old Nicholas Markowitz was murdered as essentially payment for his brother's drug debt. In this video, I hike into the mountains above santa barbara on the lizard mouth trail, and try to find the carved memorial for Nicholas. As that is where he was murdered. Then, I visit the cemetery where he is buried and find his grave.
