The strengths and weaknesses of the vpn are showcased in these speed tests. I personally use nordvpn for both work, play and leisure. NordVPN is a great service that allows you to hide your IP address, stay secure online and even spoof your location so you can access out of region content on streaming services.

The feature list includes VPN to secure your connection and or change your location. Then you have threat protection which acts as an ad blocker and keeps away potential threats while you are online. Next is mesh network, allowing you to have a virtual local private network to connect to other devices outside your network. You also have dark web monitor which detects info leaks and such. If you pay for the next tier up you get a password book and then one more tier above that includes 1TB of encrypted cloud storage as well.

If you are gaming and find that you sometimes get high ping times/lag, I would give this a try and see if it helps you reduce your ping times and get a more stable connection. It seems the local vpn servers from nord are much quicker in responding than the ones my internet service provider uses ( and I am on the highest package!). I would not recommend using this vpn to change your location drastically while gaming as your ping times will increase too much and you wont be able to play much.

I have used this software for about a year now and I have to say it has not let me down once. Whenever I want to connect, it connects quickly and there are so many different server options.
