Bergerac was a BBC crime drama television series which ran from 1981 to 1991 over 9 series and 87 episodes. Set on Jersey in the Channel Islands it starred a young John Nettles as Detective Sergeant Jim Bergerac whose wheels of choice was a red 1940s Triumph Roadster.
