The Foxfield Railway is a heritage Line in Blythe Bridge in Staffordshire and decided to finally time to ride this heritage line as they put on a event known as Knotty 100, Celebrating 100 years since the pre-grouping Railway the North Staffordshire Railway was absorbed into the London Midland and Scottish Railway
During the Event, they were running 4 Industrial Steam Locomotives and vintage coaches from the North Staffordshire Railway with a Midland Railway 1st Class Saloon coach and vintage freight wagons as well as I take a look around as the Museum, Caverswall Road Station and Dilhorne Park Station as well while making 2 round trips on this 2 and a half mile heritage line.
The Foxfield Railway was a Railway Line built for industry as it opened for coal trains from Foxfield Colliery which ceased operations in 1965.
