Ella’s virtuosity in scat singing is unparalleled among jazz singers. She is a fine-tuned musical instrument unto herself! No other jazz vocalist comes close to her perfection.

"Air Mail Special" is a 1941 jazz standard written by Benny Goodman, James Mundy and Charlie Christian. Jazz fans know it best as a vehicle for the virtuoso scat singing of Ella Fitzgerald, which is featured in this video.

Technical Information:
I used iZotope RX-8's Music ReBalance utility to separate the Vocal, Drums, Bass and Piano into 4 separate tracks. Adobe Audition was used for Dynamic Range recovery, Delay, Reverb, EQ, and final mixdown. NERO 2019 Platinum used to generate the final video.
