Do you make this really common spelling mistake: not knowing the difference between loose and lose.
As in:
'Without socks, my shoes are too loose.'
and
'I hope England don’t lose the match tonight.'
Notice the difference in spelling?
Only 'loose' has two ‘o’s. 'Lose', surprisingly perhaps only has one ‘o’.
But confusing the two and writing 'lose' with two ‘o’s is really common.
A simple way to remember the correct spelling is to remember that with 'lose', you lose the second o.
