This was a way better product than I expected, and I'm pretty damn happy with Orange Pi products (sometimes called OrangePi). The Pi Zero 3 has the same CPU but different form factor, so I likely won't try it, but from what I understand someone is going to benchmark it and add it to [ Ссылка ] in the near future.
Here's the benchmark results (Geekbench 6) for this SBC: [ Ссылка ]
The benchmarks actually show better results than an Arm Cortex-A55 in that list, but I am thinking that may be due to the heatsink? Else likely due to the LPDDR4 RAM.
It really is a shame that there is no eMMC or NVMe on this. It might be available via a custom breakout for that 24-pin FPC, but I've not seen one yet! PoE on that expansion/breakout board would be excellent too!
And as far as the size goes, I am basically arguing that;
- Stamp: eSBC (eg Mango Pi mCore, SiSpeed M1s)
- Stick: eSBC (Milk-V Duo, Pine64 Ox64, LuckFox Pico)
- Half-Card: SBC (Orange / Raspberry Pi Zero 2, Mango Pi MQ-Pro)
- Credit Card: SBC (Raxda Rock 4SE, Rasp / Orange Pi 5, Milk-V Mars)
- Compute Module: .... not sure yet. It's an SBC like those two, but it requires break-outs like eSBCs... Food for thought!
