An explosion ripped through one of Europe's biggest oil refineries in Cologne, Germany on Thursday afternoon.
The heavy black smoke kept residents indoors with their doors and windows shut.
The explosion was caused by a fire at Shell's Rheinland Raffinerie refinery.
