An amazing used bookstore in Pasadena, CA. Tucked away in a smaller space, there is a book for everyone here! Easy street parking, friendly staff, and a wide selection of books & music. If you're looking for a thrifty good time, this is the option for you!
📖 Vromans-
Vroman’s Bookstore was founded in 1894 by Adam Clark Vroman. He loved books and giving back to his community. To date, Vroman's has donated over $765,513.59 on behalf of our customers.
Vroman’s Bookstore holds an important place in Southern California’s history. Famous for its world class author signings and events, Vroman's was the largest bookstore west of the Mississippi, and it continues to be the oldest and largest independent bookstore in Southern California.
Vroman’s is a Pasadena institution, a literary landmark, a community center, and a wonderful tradition. We hope you visit us soon!
📖 Alexandria II-
Alexandria II is one of the oldest metaphysical bookstores in Los Angeles area, open since 1985. Creating a place where people can come in to get information on whatever path they may be on: different religions, different teachings, different philosophies.
Alexandria II is serving the community just by being a place people can come to where they can connect with other people and lift their consciousness through the books, products, incense, meditation tools and ritual items.
