In this detailed look at the final battle of the Wars of the Roses, we consider The Battle of Bosworth Field. The Year is 1483, Henry Tudor has left France fearing for his life. However the new king Richard III has risen onto the throne under suspicious circumstances. The previous king Edward IV had entrusted him to look after his son, the soon to be Edward V. However Edward V and his brother would mysteriously disappear, with them allegedly murdered under Richards orders. In 1485, Henry Tudor a man who had a small claim to the throne of England would arrive in England in his native Wales, willing to die for his right to become King of England.
Henry Tudor and Richard III would meet in a field near to the Leicestershire town of Market Bosworth. Here their armies would do battle to the death for the crown of England. Join us as we take a detailed look at this period in time, and reveal to you to 500 year old lost secret, of the true Bosworth Battlefield.
