'Meda Meeda Abbai', a remake of Malayalam film Oru Vadakkan Selfie starring Nivin Pauly, sees Allari Naresh play Srinu, an engineering student with 24 backlogs. He neither has any ambition in life nor does he believe in the importance of setting goals. His friends, shopkeeper Bandla Babji (Hyper Aadi) and a bus driver (Satyam Rajesh), are equally aimless.
One fine day, Srinu decides he wants to become a film director. His resolve is further strengthened when his refuses to buy him a fancy tab or allow him to study filmmaking. He is now focused on making a viral short film and believes that master filmmaker SS Rajamouli will see it and offer him a chance to work with him.
