3 Quick Canon FACTS about REVAN-Darth Revan-or just merely Revan-was a Sith Lord and the namesake of the Sith Eternal army's 3rd Legion. Since the history of the Sith was kept hidden from the galaxy, only Sith cultists knew the significance of Revan's name. Sith trooper legions were each numerically identified and additionally named after an ancient Sith Lord. The Revan Legion was activated in 35 ABY along with the rest of the Sith Eternal's forces during the war between the First Order and the Resistance. Revan has grown to become a fan favorite amongst Star Wars fans, while also being one of the coolest looking characters in Star Wars. Revan is seriously so cool looking! In Legends, Revan had a pretty in-depth backstory that took place nearly 4,000 before the events in A New Hope. In Legends, Revan trained to become a Jedi Knight, but eventually fell to the dark side and become Darth Revan. Eventually, Darth Revan returned to the light side, becoming Revan yet again, and helped definite the Sith Emperor and Empire. If you've never played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, it's a great game and Revan's story in it is excellent. Same goes for Star Wars: The Old Republic, which has an expansion dedicated specifically to Revan. Revan's story in Star Wars: The Old Republic is a ton of fun, and the Star Wars: The Old Republic novel, Revan is super enjoyable and provides even more Revan awesomeness. If you've never played KOTOR or SWTOR, I'd highly recommend both, especially if you're a Darth Revan fan or just think Darth Revan's a cool looking character! Revan's story in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one of my favorites in the game. Revan's backstory in canon, however, isn't anywhere near as robust. Just like in Legends, Revan is an ancient Sith Lord in the current Star Wars canon. Nonetheless, Revan is still worth knowing, and, with the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic hopefully due out in the near future, Revan's popularity will only continue to grow. Revan's a badass and I'm hoping that we can get to see more Revan in the future. With the KOTOR remake coming out at some point, there is the possibility that Darth Revan could start to appear in more and more Star Wars stories, and I can't say that I'd be disappointed. Revan's a really fun character, he look's dope, and I'm all for more Revan in the current canon. Plus, I can't wait to play the KOTOR remake. Give me more Revan! So, let's get to know Revan!
