There are many sophisticated headlight functions available. The features that are active when the sidelights or low-beam headlights are on are automatically enabled. The advanced BMW Selective Beam becomes active when the high-beam headlights are switched on by pressing the button on the end of the left steering stalk. An icon on the dashboard will signify when this is active.
