Isla Mujeres is a small island located 13 km off the coast of Cancun, accessible by hourly ferries leaving from the port in Cancun, Isla Mujeres is the perfect day trip for those looking for a change of scenery. Isla Mujeres provides those tropical vibes and beautiful beaches. The island is only 4.3 miles long and less than 0.5 miles wide. Renting a golf cart is the best and most enjoyable way to explore the Island. We spent 2 weeks in Cancun, Mexico at the end of November in 2018 and highly recommend taking the trip to Isla Mujeres.
