This is the first episode of an ongoing tutorial series for Propellerhead's Reason software. Reason is a piece of software used mainly for electronic music composition but you can also use it for sampling, arranging, MIDI editing, etc. In later episodes I will go over Reason's synths, effects, how to write and record MIDI and much more 👌
In this episode, I go over what to expect when you open Reason for the first time and how to setup and navigate the program. This video is meant more for first time DAW (digital audio workstation) users who want to know how to tweak various audio and MIDI software settings. Up next will be an overview of the main synthesizers and drum machines in Reason.
