From the summer alp below the Schäfler (mountain peak in the Alpstein massif) we went down to the Lehmen inn with the goats, cows and the bull. From here the path for this Alp descent continued via Weissbad and Steinegg towards the village of Appenzell. In Appenzell, to the delight of numerous passers-by and tourists, the cattle walked right through the main street. The farmer, the dairymen and the assistants then went on to the local farm.
