Welcome to my honest story time of my experience with the Copper IUD and the Mirena IUD! This is a brutally honest storytime - like I spill the full truth about my experience with the Copper and the Mirena! I made this in an attempt to help you guys make an educated decision on which IUD to get, knowing all the different factors to consider such as your mental health, your natural periods, your previous reaction to hormonal birth control etc!! It is a very tough decision, one which I still question 8 months into having the Mirena! It sucks that as women we are the ones responsible for being pregnancy, birthing a child and also preventing pregnancy with such invasive or unnatural methods!

Long story short, I am the girl who never agreed with putting hormones in your body while majority of my friends went on the pill
