Russia and Ukraine swapped 206 prisoners on September 14. This was their second such exchange in two days. The prisoner swap followed negotiations mediated by the United Arab Emirates. According to UAE state media, this was the eighth such mediation in 2024. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said 82 soldiers and 21 officers had returned.
