NOTE: 10% ballistic gel is the most commonly used formula for ballistic gel and has a bloom strength( [ Ссылка ] ) of around 250 bloom( [ Ссылка ] ). While I did not test the bloom strength of Knox gelatin myself, after a quick google I am now an expert and it sounds like Knox is about 225 bloom ( [ Ссылка ] ). This puts it at 90% the bloom strength of the common 10% gel mixture. So yeah, the FBI probably wouldn't use it, but for a amateur like me an A- gel is indistinguishable from an A+ gel.
