It’s simple to prepare, but you have to be patient for 5-7 days while waiting for the pickled beetroot juice. Furthermore Borscht is extremely healthy and great in the cold weather. Stage 1 – PICKLED BEETROOT JUICE.
1,2kg Beetroot
2 apples
4-5 garlic cloves
1 tsp allspice
4-5 bay leaves
1 tbsp SALT per 1 L of WARM WATER
Stage 2 – VEGETABLE BROTH
2 carrots
2 parsleys
120g cellery
2 leeks
Green parsley
1,5 tsp salt
A few pepper corns
A few pickled beetroot
Stage 3
Dried mushrooms - bay boletes or boletes
300 ml water
FINAL STAGE
Pinch of marjoram
