A huge thank you to archaeologist Dave Pollock of Dave Pollock (Archaeografix) for visiting us in Dungarvan Library to film a very informative introduction to the history of Dungarvan Castle for Heritage Week.

Dave was previously involved with digs at Barronstrand Street in Waterford and at Dungarvan Castle and is currently involved in work on the Waterford Community Archaeology:Gallowshill. He has given evening classes in Dungarvan and Lismore on the archaeology of county Waterford, and has produced guidebooks on medieval Dungarvan and Waterford.
