Nepali Film Industry has never been safe for actresses. From late Srisha Karki to Samragyee RL Shah to Samikshya Adhikari a lot of actress are abused inside the industry. R*pe accused actors like Paul Shah are being celebrated like they have won Oscar for the country and actresses like Pooja Sharma are openly blaming the victims and supporting the accused. Does this means Nepali Film Industry is unsafe for girls ?
Harassment is pervasive in Nepali movie industry thus today let us go deep in the history and come to present trying to understand if Nepali Film Industry is really unsafe for female.
