New to mold making? This is for you! Making a mold with LEGO was easier than expected and the mold turned out great.
LEGO MOLD TIPS:
- Make sure your pieces are snapped down very tight
- The “walls” of the mold should be two bricks high
- The bricks in the center should be one brick high
- No glue or other reinforcements are needed
- You can clean up any imperfections on the outside of the mold by just pulling them off or cleaning it up with a sharp blade if necessary.
Even after casting many bricks using epoxy resin, the mold is still in perfect shape and has not lost any of its detail.
