A traditional Irish folk song and one of Thin Lizzys big hits from 1972 and on the Vagabonds Of The Western World. Performed on Top Of The Pops Phil Lynott didn’t want it released as a single as it doesn’t have the Thin Lizzy sound. Eric Bell played guitar on this track leaving not long after. Gary Moore took guitar guitar duties before the Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson era
